Flight Training
Flight Training Unit 
- Utilize the R22 Beta II, the first to be registered in Canada, which
provides the following advantages;
- added performance at altitude
- greater power reserve
- same airframe and limits as the R22 Beta, the worlds most popular
training helicopter.
- Flight school always has access to new equipment
- Overhaul facility gives Pilot Trainees access to aircraft in various
stages of repair, with our knowledgeable maintenance staff ready and
willing to answer any questions.
- Commercial Pilot Trainees obtain Industry exposure through E &
B's Charter Operation
- Experienced, factory trained Instructor Pilots provide comprehensive
training

Requirements for a Commercial Licence
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Obtain a Category 1 Medical
- Accumulate 100 hours of flight time, of which
- 55 hours must be with an instructor
- 35 hours must be solo
- Attend 80 hours of commercial ground school
- Achieve 60% on a written examination (CPHEL)
- Demonstrate ability on a practical flight test
- Reference CARs 421.31
Requirements for Commercial Airplane Conversion
- Accumulate 60 hours of flight time, of which
- 37 hours must be with an instructor
- 23 hours must be solo
- Attend 20 hours of commercial helicopter ground school
- Achieve 60% on written examination (CHRAC)
- Demonstrate ability on a practical flight test
- Reference CARs 421.31
Requirements for a Private Licence
- Must be seventeen years of age
- Obtain a Category 3 Medical
- Accumulate 45 hours of flight time, of which:
- 17 hours must be with an instructor
- 12 hours must be solo
- Attend 40 hours of private ground school
- Achieve 60% on a written examination (PPHEL)
- Demonstrate ability on a practical flight test
- Reference CARs 421.27
Requirements for Private Airplane
Conversion
- Accumulate 30 hours of flight time, of which:
- 17 hours must be with an instructor
- 8 hours must be solo
- Attend 20 hours of private helicopter ground school
- Achieve 60% on written examination (PHRAC)
- Demonstrate ability on a practical flight test
- Reference CARs 421.27
